The power of Pen

‘Once in a blue moon’ my eyes noticed the dining table graced by the eatables placed on it. Designed meticulously with woods of teak, embossed with diamonds and with all other necessities that made it my privilege to have breakfast on it. But I felt of being made ‘Scapegoat for a cause’, well I guessed that. The appetizers smelt so delicious that my mouth started watering. I started eating, I made sure that I halved the work of the maid. I also tried to save water by licking my fingers! Then, while gazing at the stars and their mystic beauty my ears heard the voice of a bold man. It was not a man, it was an alien. It was tall and with hair of black, he himself dropped inside. I fell down and fainted. When I opened my eyes, I found myself on a bed which was placed inside a room. The room was like a glass jar, surrounded by pale red lamps the outer space was totally visible through the glass walls. The lights were so dim that I was not able to see the kinds of stuff clearly. I stood up from my bed and paced towards the left corner. The rare view of the solar system and its neighbours held me spellbound. The night sky adorned by the twinkling stars, floating planets, flying comets and burning sun controlling all under his heating power like the oldest of all wise. The moon glowed so soft as if was calling me for a convincing ride. They all were just waiting for me and for my answers. I  wish that the dangers would not have chased me in that situation, then I  never had to think to prevail my steps on the moon, appealing for the ride. As I stepped outside, I was dumbstruck. Oh, what a scene it was, so adorable, so charming, captivating, mesmerising and elegant, really I was astonished. The moon was coming out of the trees, the dark sky was searching for it with immense anxiety and this play was enhanced and graced by the stars. Though not the stars were little but still helped to make the situation more dramatic. I  pulled myself out from the dream world to my topic of interest. I headed towards the forest, my childhood friends were welcoming me. Each flower was trying to stop me but the strong feeling of discovering something new ruled out my mind. But I was busy chasing the smoke.  Finally, I reached out the place from where the smoke was evolving. I was breath struck by the smoky air.          Twas a Sunday night and I was preparing for my speech. All were fast asleep, Tom my younger brother was counting stars. His face exhibited the frustration when he used to mingle between two's and three's. Lucia my new sister in her usual habit of getting attention, was looking at me with her hopeful and mesmerising eyes which held me spellbound for a while.
