BETWIXT!

Twas a Sunday night and I was preparing for my speech. All were fast asleep, Tom my younger brother was counting stars. His face exhibited the frustration when he used to mingle between two's and three's. Lucia my new sister in her usual habit of getting attention, was looking at me with her hopeful and mesmerising eyes which held me spellbound for a while. But the determination to get the first prize by defeating my 'Popular Friend' Joe, filled me with power and took me out from the sweet witch's trap. I sat at the table and started preparing myself for the awaited opportunity. I moved up and down with my feelings wherever required. I thought to take a break when the clock struck '12:00 A.M.'. I went for coffee towards the fridge. When I took the cup, I heard a loud sound, of a crash probably. I peeped through the window and I saw a strange smoke evolving from the Jungle.    Oh! my favourite place where I spent my childhood days. Fo...

GOD

Spending a lot of time in watching Television is what we do generally. After my parents' advise , I started watching news . Initially it was good, interesting and helpful. But later it turned to be humiliating and harsh. It only sticked to crime  reports all over the country. I started remaining disturbed in my life, in classes, in bathrooms, while  studying. In other words these reports ruined my life. I mean , I wasn't Sasai any more. These reports also chased me in my dreams. I wanted to wash them out from my mind, I wanted a solution, a remedy that really worked.      I asked my father & all I found were the names of the boss of all crimes, they were castes, religions and countries. These three words leaded all crimes.      But what were these things? They are limitless boundaries of separation. The boundary of land-"countries", the boundary of God-"religions", the boundary of unknown, unsocial, level -"caste". These boundaries separa...

A cup of tea!

Suuuuuurp, ah ! Suuuuuurp, ah ! Is what that probably sounds like winter. In winter, we ask for a cup of tea to our mom. And she with her earnest desire starts preparing a cup of tea. She cuts the ginger and chop it, boil the water then adds  ginger, sugar,a pinch of salt and the tea powder to it. And after drinking such a marvelous tea we say ah! Once I curiously look on the cup of tea, I founded some morsel of pepper floating on the top and the pieces of ginger and tea powder crumbs at the bottom. They reflected my life . The ginger for me was the aim or dream of our life and we can see the sacrifices as the chopped ginger but the taste of ginger remains same. After a magnifying a little, I discovered the crumbs of tea powder as the foundation on the basis of our dream. Then, Of course I tasted a little & founded the obstacles and solutions of our life as sugar and salt's taste in the cup of tea. Then the morsel of adding detailing to our life ...

A warm hello in winter!

Hello friends, I am Sasai Chandra Kumar from India. I'm just a little boy. But I understand the power of pen which is sharper than any sword. My hobbies are composing poems, graphics designing, paintings, and writing stories. I'm going to publish my poems and some stories or articles. Hoping for all of your guidance and correction if needed. My poems are the views of a child representing his thought on the events taking place in my country and the world. In the case of stories I like suspense, thriller, sometimes with moral and sometimes comedy.      With all these things I will also give some links for the people who want to hear a little in Hindi, because I only compose poems in English. For a Hindi show you can search for a channel 'R C Kumar' on YouTube.
